'Each event is more popular' - Successful market business expands

Updated: Dec 11, 2018

Successful baby clothes markets are to expand into Sleaford after being a huge success in Lincoln.

The markets, run by company Cheeki Monkeys Lincoln, sell second hand baby clothes and crafts. The events also include activities for children to get involved in such as sand art and building teddy bears.

Ashley Elvidge, from Cheeki Monkeys Lincoln, said the stalls sell out in advance of the event.

"I believe the markets will be a huge benefit to the people of Sleaford and they will help get money back into the community.

"Each of my events have got more and more popular with shoppers as well, which is great news for the sellers and makes our markets the ideal place to sell used baby items. The events are mainly pre-loved stalls but we also have local craft and business stalls attend to advertise their items.

"Due to the events selling out so quickly I chose to expand the events to the Sleaford area and the success looks like it will continue there."

Some of the businesses attending include an Osborne book stand, Harty Crafty stand where children can do sand art and built their own teddy bears, Little Puds & Co who sell baby clothes, Busy Needles who will bring hand knitted baby items and Party Delights who will bring an ice cream van and candy floss.

Stalls are available for £12 which includes a table plus extra space for a clothes rail or other larger items.

Craft stalls are £20 and business stalls are available to book for £25.

The market will take place on Saturday, June 18, at Leasingham Village Hall.
